This wonderful silk night dress was made in the mid-1920s, and it has never-yet been worn! Although made more than 90 years ago, this night dress is in mint-perfect condition…. truly amazing condition for a delicate piece of vintage lingerie! The gown has not yet been laundered, as the full-length pleats are still very sharp.

Centered over the breastbone is a piece of golden lace artistry…. a gold silk-floss appliqué is placed in the middle of gold-coloured net, which in turn, is bordered by more golden lace trim. The same lace trim enhances the neckline and trims the deep armholes. A smaller version of this lace trims the shaped hemline.
