This is one of the most provocative nightgowns we’ve ever seen, let alone owned, and it’s cut with a thigh-high leg slit! We at Silver Screen Loungerie, are dedicated to offering vintage lingerie items of the highest quality. While we sometimes find the occasional new/old stock piece, (like this one!), most of our items have been gently worn by a previous owner. By definition, “vintage” means “old”, and we take great care in restoring the items – as much as possible, to their original beauty.

This is really one of the most daring gowns that we’ve ever seen, and we doubt that it was ever intended to be worn in bed! The gown could possibly be worn outside the home, but it is very-sheer, and would require a backless slip in a purple or black colour. This gown is considered to be “late” vintage, and it has never been worn.

The gown was made by Victoria’s Secret, and the size is indicated as an “S”. (Small) We measured a comfortable 38 inches, “pit-to-pit”, but this would be a easier fit on a size 36-plus woman. On our 5’ – 11” ‘Gloria’ model, the gown ends just above her ankles.

We are very excited about this gown… which is among the most provocative of the 1980s. It is also one of the most daring gowns for the year 2012!
