One of the most highly-detailed slips that we have ever seen! This beauty is part of Richard’s fab collection in the New Jersey ‘HQ’ of Silver Screen Loungerie. We at Silver Screen Loungerie, are dedicated to offering vintage lingerie items of the highest quality possible. While we sometimes find the occasional “new/old stock” piece, most of our items have been either gently or moderately worn by a previous owner. By definition, “vintage” means “old”, and we take great care to restore items – as much as possible – to their original beauty.
Offered for your lounging pleasure, is this new-with-tag piece of silk femininity! This slip bears the famous store label, “Neiman Marcus”, and the gilt 100% Silk hang-tag is still attached to the shoulder strap! The slip was actually made “in-house” by Neiman Marcus, and it has never been worn and never laundered.
This slip is truly the most-highly detailed slip that we’ve ever seen, and rows of lace trim and tiny fan-pleats encircle the satin bust cups. The silk crepe-de-chine fabric was likely imported from one of the top Italian silk mills in the Lake Como region. The inner construction is perfect, and there is not a single pinhole or faint water-spot.
On our 5’ – 11” ‘Gloria’ model, the slip falls to just below her knees. The listed measurements are those of the slip itself. For a good fit, please ensure that your own body measurements are less.
