The satin fabric of this nightgown is so smooth, that once you “slither” your way into it, you may never want to take it off! The gown is in excellent condition, and has no stains or holes that we could find. The gown is very-well made, and the seams are as strong as they originally were. There is a size tag… “38”, but we measured slightly larger than that.
Both front and back necklines are surplice-wrapped, and the front neckline is enhanced by flame-like self-fabric appliqués. On our 5’ – 6” Gloria model, the gown drapes 60-1/2 inches to below her ankles. As often stated, these measurements are those of the garment itself. Please allow an inch or two for wearing “ease”.
For a garment that was made 70-some years ago, this is such a desirable nightgown. It is ready to wear, and fit for a 2011 Star – YOU – the Leading Star of your own Life!
