This wonderful silk charmeuse slip dates from the late-1930s, (before WW-2), and is one of our select group of Fischer beauties in our New Jersey ‘HQ’ of Silver Screen Loungerie! The pictures and Mermaid label tell much of the story about this fabulous slip, but here are some additional details… The slip is one of the most popular of the many fabulous Fischer designs, and it features a “necklace” of floral appliqués in the lace bodice. It has a 4-inches deep lace panel across the back, just perfect for dramatic exits as well as entrances! The condition is excellent, with no flaws that we could find. The unique “Mermaid” label is seen under the right armhole, and like the slip itself, it’s in excellent condition. The shoulder straps are adjustable for best fit around the upper body. The stated measurements are those of the slipitself, and your own body measurements should be less.

This slip-gown is so beautifully styled, that if you dare, it could also be worn by itself as a dress! Whether worn as a slip or dress, it will be a joy to YOU, the fortunate buyer and STAR of your own Life!
