Radelle Lingerie! Ca. 30s ‘Fine Hand Made’ Silk Crepe-De-Chine Nightgown~ Sz 42 (#1006)

This thin silk nightgown is located in our New Jersey ‘HQ’ of Silver Screen Loungerie.

We at Silver Screen Loungerie, are dedicated to offering vintage lingerie items of the highest quality possible. While we sometimes find the occasional “new/old stock” piece, most of our items have been gently worn by just one previous owner. By definition, “vintage” means “old”, and we take great care in restoring items – as much as possible, to their original beauty.

The gown bears the well-known Radelle label, and the tag indicates the garment was made by hand. After inspecting the inside of the garment, we see that all the stitching was done by hand! As expected, the long side-seams are French seamed, but all other seams are French seamed as well! Except for a tiny, thin place in the fabric, and near the hem, the entire gown appears to be in excellent condition. There are no holes and no stains in this very-thin silk fabric.
